In addition to our long history of successful art openings Gallery O on H has hosted a wide range of juried exhibitions, nonprofit fundraisers, private events, corporate happy hours and community celebrations.
The Gallery has been involved in the H Street Community for more than 15 years. It has been a significant participant in the H Street Festival, Art All Night, Focus on the Story and the D C Jazz Festival.
It has served as the host site for events as varied as the 12th Night Celebrations, Krampusnacht, Comedy Central tapings and the Black Makers YouTube launch party.
The rotating installations of artwork throughout the venue provide an ideal backdrop to all of our events as well as the serendipitous opportunity to experience, much like the venue itself the unique and the unexpected.

There aren’t many spaces in the District that embody the sense of culture, and community as Gallery O on H. To their credit, Steve & Dolly have established more than just a structure one goes to visit; they’ve created a welcoming experience that fortunate folks get to share in for all types of events. Whether they’re showcasing a local artists’ work, hosting a wedding reception, or simply supporting a non profit fundraiser for local youth development programs, you’ll always feel appreciated at Gallery O on H.

What a great time I had with @night_sage_dc performing @galleryoonh last night. Fantastic wedding crowd that danced all night with us! The gallery had wonderful art with a jazz and blues theme, with so many connections to #neworleans. Definitely worth a trip to this gallery. Very cool vibe there and the owners are wonderful. Enjoyed meeting and chatting with them.

As a DC resident, artist and retired Veteran, Gallery O on H is my “go-to” venue. They consistently demonstrate a positive commitment to not just showcasing my art but also to collaborate on exhibitions for disabled Veterans participating in therapy at the DCVA. The Gallery has always been willing to consider and execute ideas that are outside the parameters of the box, all with perfect finesse.
