Gallery O on H is the curated blend of sophistication and authentic artistic expression. Breaking boundaries of what a gallery should look and feel like from its decor, scenic layout and an Artist's showcase. Gallery O on H is a utopia for artists breaking the stigma of "traditional worthy creations." It's wonderful to walk into Gallery O on H and feel immediately welcomed by its owners and the attending audience. One feels relieved from judgment and conversations flow easily. Before leaving Washington D.C., you must take a moment and feel the energy and art within this space.
Our Gallery O on H wedding was absolutely unforgettable. The venue itself is stunning…I don’t know how they do it but [they] make the place feel like another home, a community in a way that is completely missing in other venues.
We booked GalleryO on H for our wedding and it could not have been a more perfect location! The space is a beautiful combination of industrial, with brick walls and iron accents, mixed with beautiful greenery and plants.
Everything about this venue and staff is fantastic! I had a wonderful experience!
We had a wonderful experience in working with Gallery O on H to make our wedding a total success! …Highly recommend working with them. The space is beautiful inside and out!
Gallery O on H is the perfect space for unique, out-of-the box weddings, corporate parties and events. The Gallery is funky, hip and versatile enough to be an exceptional spot for inventive cocktail parties, formal seated dinners and everything in between. As a caterer, it is one of our favorite venues. The facilities are modern, well-equipped and just plain cool!
Gallery O on H provided us the necessary space and support to host our exhibition focusing on Black photojournalism. Dolly and Steve are genuinely wonderful humans, and are so dedicated to using their space consciously and for the purpose of the community. We're excited to continue partnering with them in the future.
Approaching its centenary celebration, this newly renovated building retained the industrial high ceilings, significant beams, brick walls and wood plank floors of ageless beauty. These elements are a testament to architectural and aesthetic quality from another era long ago. The space provides exceptional flow for a modern experience including a large outdoor courtyard nestled within the building’s walls that brings one important emotion to this property—PARTY.
‘Home is the starting place of love, hope and dreams.’ –Unknown
Gallery O on H is one space that covers all three….I guess you would call it ‘Home’, to me. There are very few galleries, or gallery owners for that matter, that put working with those whose works they have great genuine interest in first instead of personal gain. To share and collaborate with those who understand and empathize with the artist has been a game changer, for me personally and professionally. Gallery O on H’s ability to create an environment that artist and consumer can both grow and learn in is what I believe ART should really be about—or at least…a starting place.

As a DC resident, artist and retired Veteran, Gallery O on H is my “go-to” venue. They consistently demonstrate a positive commitment to not just showcasing my art but also to collaborate on exhibitions for disabled Veterans participating in therapy at the DCVA. The Gallery has always been willing to consider and execute ideas that are outside the parameters of the box, all with perfect finesse.
There aren’t many spaces in the District that embody the sense of culture, and community as Gallery O on H. To their credit, Steve & Dolly have established more than just a structure one goes to visit; they’ve created a welcoming experience that fortunate folks get to share in for all types of events. Whether they’re showcasing a local artists’ work, hosting a wedding reception, or simply supporting a non profit fundraiser for local youth development programs, you’ll always feel appreciated at Gallery O on H.
